Kevin opened with Dan Quinn’s answer to the question of whether or not he’s seen enough from Jayden Daniels to name him the Commanders’ starting quarterback heading into training camp. Plenty on the NBA Finals Game 3 between the Celtics and Mavericks and Luka Doncic in particular. David Falk, one of the greatest sports agents of all time, jumped on with Kevin to talk about many things including his childhood idol Jerry West along with thoughts on Caitlin Clark.

Kevin and Thom today opened with the early mini-camp praise coming from all corners for rookie QB Jayden Daniels. In particular, the guys had thoughts on some of Terry McLaurin’s comments on Daniels after the first day of mini-camp. Thom weighed in for the first time on Caitlin Clark’s omission from the USA Women’s Olympic team. The boys talked about the importance of tonight’s NBA Finals Game 3 for Kyrie Irving. Plenty on the passing of Jerry West as well in the final segment of the show as well.

Kevin opened with a quick recap of Game 2 of the NBA Finals, the Nats’ weekend, Jayden Daniels’ first pitch at Nats Park, and thoughts on Caitlin Clark’s exclusion from the Women’s USA Olympic Basketball team. Santana Moss jumped on to talk all things Commanders. USA Today’s Christine Brennan was a guest in the final segment of the show to discuss her days covering the Skins for the Washington Post and her column on Caitlin Clark.

Kevin and Thom today with a menu of excellence variety. The boys opened with a local PR legend making his way into the Boxing Hall of Fame which led to Thom realizing he never invited Kevin to his DC Boxing HOF induction back in 2016. The boys recapped the Celtics’ Game 1 win over the Mavericks in the NBA Finals. Also on the show, tornado talk, Caitlin Clark’s visit to a waiting sold-out crowd at Capital One tonight, and a preview of the Belmont Stakes with Eddie C.

Kevin opened with Pro Football Focus’ rankings of the eight NFL last-place division teams’ chances to go from worst to first in 2024. John Fanta/Fox Sports jumped on to talk about the big news of the day, the possibility of UConn head coach Dan Hurley heading to Los Angeles to be the Lakers’ new coach. Kevin finished up with a short preview and pick of the NBA Finals’ featuring the Celtics and Mavericks.
