Kevin and Aaron opened with Maryland’s loss to Michigan State on Saturday night then got to all of the Redskins news from over the weekend. First, reports that the Redskins are interested in Tua Tagovailoa. Next, the latest on Trent Williams. Also, free agent targets according to reports include Carolina CB James Bradberry and Atlanta TE Austin Hooper. The guys finished up with Tony Romo’s $17 million deal to stay at CBS.
Kevin had JP Finlay/NBC Sports Washington on the show to discuss the report from the NFL Network that Trent Williams told the Redskins he wants a new contract or trade. JP had some interesting new information on that front. They also discussed JP’s reports on Ryan Kerrigan and Brandon Scherff. Kevin had thoughts on Doug Gottlieb’s tweet about Dwayne Haskins. Kevin and Aaron finished up with a Maryland-Michigan State preview.
Kevin and Thom opened with Maryland’s stunning comeback win at Minnesota last night. The boys spent time recapping Ron Rivera’s press conference yesterday at the NFL Scouting Combine. He was asked a lot about Dwayne Haskins and the Redskins’ plan at quarterback. Also, Tom Brady is expected to leave New England according to Jeff Darlington/ESPN….the guys made predictions on where he lands.
Kevin had some Redskins news about their plans in free agency to start the show. He recapped Skins’ VP of Player Personnel Kyle Smith’s press conference from yesterday at the NFL Scouting Combine. The boys finished up with Duke’s loss and the impact it could have on Maryland’s NCAA Tournament seeding.
Kevin and Thom opened with the latest on Trent Williams and then got into Doug Williams’ comments on Dwayne Haskins. They discussed overrated sports events in honor of this week’s NFL Indy Combine. They talked more Fury-Wilder 2 and then finished with Bradley Beal’s back to back 50+ pt games.
