Kevin and Thom today with lots more on Kobe Bryant’s death, the reporting of it, and his basketball legacy. They debated where he ranks on the all-time NBA list of greatest players. They also talked about the Chiefs’ previous Super Bowl team, Dusty Baker to Houston, and the an all-time NBA comeback last night.
Kevin talked Kobe Bryant’s shocking death, his career, legacy, etc. He spent a few minutes recapping Maryland’s comeback win at Indiana. He finished with the NFL’s Pro Bowl test of the onsides kick alternative.
Kevin opened with Peyton Manning making the HOF case for his brother Eli. He talked about Pro Football Focus’ ranking the Redskins’ 2019 draft class #1 in the NFL. Scott Jackson (Team980) jumped on to talk Bradley Beal’s strange All-Star vote count and some college hoops too. Erich Zimney(VP Race & Sportsbook Hollywood Casino) was a guest talking Super Bowl odds, props, etc.
Kevin and Thom opened with the Ted Leonsis, the Wizards, Zion Williamson and Morgan Wootten. They discussed the latest reports about Dan Snyder’s search for a new stadium location. They also got to the Barry Svurluga (Washington Post) story on Joe Gibbs’ role in convincing Ron Rivera to come to Washington. The boys talked about the Jason LaConfora (CBS) story that predicted that Derrick Carr will be the Redskins’ starting QB in 2020. The Eli Manning/Hall of Fame debate finished the show.
