Kevin and Thom open the show talking weed. Then it’s on to Dwayne Haskins and whether or not 8 games will be enough to evaluate him fairly. Do NFL teams need an “identity”? The boys discuss that and Kevin talks about the attempt the Redskins have made in recent years to create their own. Plus Kevin considers a Smell Test pick.
Kevin and Thom opened the show talking about Popeye’s Chicken Sandwiches and then moved to the Nats’ White House visit which included Kurt Suzuki wearing a MAGA hat and Ryan Zimmerman apparently revealing his pro-Trump politics. They talked about Bill Callahan’s reluctance to name Dwayne Haskins the starter for the Redskins’ next game. They also discussed Trent Williams asking out of the NFL/NFLPA investigation of his accusation that the Redskins were negligent in handling his cancer scare.
Kevin opens with his recap of the Redskins’ loss to Buffalo with his main emphasis on Dwayne Haskins’ first start in the NFL. Chris Cooley then called in with his breakdown of the Haskins’ debut. Kevin talked about the NFLPA statement about Trent Williams and finished up with some other NFL game recaps.

Trent Williams spoke yesterday for the first time since his holdout began and ended. The boys discussed that. Will Dwayne Haskins start in Buffalo and if he does, how will he play?
