Some Nats’ conversation to start then Chris Cooley called in from the road as he’s headed for Cleveland from Wyoming. He revealed something about Alex Smith that surprised Kevin to say the least. It led to a wager between the two of them. Cooley spent lots of time on the other quarterbacks as well and described a certain young offensive lineman who is having a great camp. They finished up with the Antonio Brown/frostbite story.
Kevin and Thom open with the mystery of the studio’s missing Chia Pet before getting to the reality of Colt McCoy as a potential Redskins’ starter. They talked Trent Williams and spent time discussing Adam Kilgore’s Washington Post story on Kirk Cousins. Some Nats and Cliff Branch talk too.
