He also had thoughts on Taulia Tagovailoa opting out of Maryland’s bowl game against Auburn and where Lia ranks on the list of all-time Terp QBs.

Kevin solo recaps the Commanders’ 28-20 loss to the Rams yesterday. Lots of drama as Jacoby Brissett replaced a struggling Sam Howell and rallied the team to two touchdowns on two drives. Cam Cheesman is gone after another bad snapping day and Kevin had thoughts on Ron’s day-after press conference from earlier today. A quick recap of the other NFL games as well.
Kevin opened with Branden Staley’s firing following his Chargers’ 63-21 blowout loss to the Raiders’ and whether or not a similar beating taken in L.A. on Sunday against the Rams could cost Ron Rivera his job. Kevin also responded to Sam Howell’s comments about Eric Bieniemy on Robert Griffin III’s podcast yesterday. Kevin had his keys to an upset over the Rams along with a prediction before welcoming on former Redskins’ head coach Jay Gruden for his weekly segment. Jay remembered and talked about some of the games he lost like the Chargers did last night, previewed-picked the Commanders-Rams game, and had his “NFL Lock of the Week” which is 8-4 ATS. Kevin finished up with five of his own NFL “Smell Test” picks.
Kevin and Thom were all over the place today but in a good way. Thom’s new technology addition started the conversation. From there, it was thoughts a day later about the potential moves of the Wizards and Caps to Northern Virginia. Kevin introduced Thom to a web site Setlist.FM that provides the setlists for past concerts. They discussed why Ron Rivera didn’t do better here in Washington and the biggest mistake he made. Thom had his Commanders-Rams’ pick and both had their “You Heard It Here First” bold predictions.
Kevin and Thom today on the big breaking news that Ted Leonsis is likely moving his NBA Wizards and NHL Capitals to Northern Virginia. The boys react to every aspect of this story including the possibility that the move actually never happens. Plenty of catching up to do on the Ohtani deal, Montez Sweat’s comments, and Kevin had some a few Sam Howell nuggets to share as well.
