Kevin opened with thoughts on the Kristaps Porzingis trade before getting to a common response from coaches/players when asked about Sam Howell….”arm strength”. Mike Vorkunov/The Athletic jumped on to talk NBA trades and NBA Draft.
Kevin and Thom opened with some Bradley Beal trade leftovers which included a conversation about the job Ted Leonsis has done running the Wizards. Josh Harris’s company Harris-Blitzer Sports & Entertainment is investing in Joe Gibbs Racing. Gibbs will take an equity stake in Harris’ company as well. What does that mean for Gibbs and the Commanders? The boys discussed that and PFF’s ranking of NFL defensive line units. Washington was ranked near the top.
Kevin solo opened with his thoughts on the trade of Bradley Beal to the Phoenix Suns. He then compared the mismanagement of the Beal situation to the mismanagement of the Kirk Cousins situation several years ago. Kevin finished up with his US Open thoughts and some interesting information about Sam Howell and Dyami Brown from Albert Breer/MMQB.
