Cooley and Kevin today with a preview and prediction on one of the biggest late-season Washington games in years. The boys opened with the 49ers win last night over the Seahawks and Cooley talked about some of the important playoff-stakes games he played in during his career. Kevin finished up with “Smell Test” picks and looked back on a memorable Redskins-Giants game 40 years ago.

Kevin today on Alex Ovechkin’s hat-trick last night in Chicago with his final goal being career number 800! ESPN’s Greg Wyshynski was a guest on the show to discuss. Kevin had thoughts on a few Ron Rivera press conference comments from yesterday including what he said about Carson Wentz. The Athletic’s New York Giants beat reporter Dan Duggan jumped on to talk about the Sunday night rematch. Kevin also with some Maryland-UCLA.

Kevin and Thom today rambled through conversations about Mike Leach, Angel Martin, Larry Bird, the greatest NBA offensive rebounders, and more before getting to some football. The boys finished up the show with a discussion about what kind of crowd Sunday Night’s rematch between Washington and New York will attract. Is there a chance that one of the most important late-season home regular season games in nearly a decade will produced a legit home field advantage? The guys discussed, gave their answers including projections of the fan-split and the actual attendance. 

Washington had one of its best Sundays of the year and they didn’t even play. Kevin opened the show with the two spots the Commanders gained in the NFC playoff race courtesy of the Giants’ and Seahawks’ losses.
