Kevin and Thom today on the chance that Washington’s game Monday night in Cincinnati might change the conversation about what’s possible this season. They talked more Terry McLaurin, “A Few Good Men”, NFL Hall of Fame nominees, Caleb Williams/CJ Stroud, and Thom had his Commanders-Bengals prediction.

Kevin opened with the unprecedented field goal bonanza over the first two weeks of the NFL season. Commanders’ kicker Austin Seibert was 7 for 7 and named “NFC Special Teams Player Of the Week” and was a big part of a record-setting pace for made field goals. While Seibert didn’t attempt a kick of 50+ yards, the rest of the league is an incredible 35-39 on long field goals through two games. Kevin discussed Terry McLaurin and his anemic yardage results through two games. Pro Football Focus’ Nick Akridge jumped on to talk Commanders’ PFF grades from Sunday’s win over the Giants.

Kevin and Thom today with plenty more on the Commanders’ win Sunday over the Giants including Thom’s latest crush….the quarterback. Kevin did an “Upon Further Review” of Jayden Daniels’ sacks and missed opportunities before the boys turned to the Kirk Cousins-led Atlanta comeback last night in Philadelphia.

Plenty on Austin Seibert’s franchise-record day with seven field goals along with Jayden Daniels’ first 4th quarter game-winning drive. He had his entire “Game Take” of the things he liked, didn’t like, and more. The one and only Doc Walker jumped on with his thoughts on the first win of the year as well.

Kevin opened with Thursday Night Football and the concussion to Tua along with plenty on Commanders-Giants including his keys to a win and a prediction on the game. He had some information on previous slow defensive starts for Dan Quinn in Dallas and Atlanta and followed up on the Skins’ NFC East rivalry conversation from the other day. Jay Gruden jumped on to talk about last week’s Tampa Bay game and recap what he saw from Jayden Daniels in his debut. He previewed and picked the game against the Giants. He also had his “Lock of the Week”. Kevin finished the show with thoughts on one of Kliff Kingsbury’s ‘worst play-calls’ of his career and 10 “Smell Test” picks.
